Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Kaizen A staged workflow for any kind of work: ``` request -> PLAN -> [approval] -> IMPLEMENT -> REVIEW -> [fix loop] -> [approval] -> done ``` Three separate subagents do the work. They never share a context window, which is the point: a reviewer that watched the code being written will rationalize it, a reviewer that sees only the request, the plan and the diff will not. The stage contract is split so no reader loads a stage it is not running: [`spec.md`](spec.md) is the core (track, intake, resume) and every reader takes it, plus exactly one of [`spec-plan.md`](spec-plan.md), [`spec-build.md`](spec-build.md), [`spec-review.md`](spec-review.md), or [`spec-main.md`](spec-main.md) — the main thread's own file. Read core plus your stage before running it; do not read the others. Where the project has its own `.kaizen/spec*.md`, those are the copies a run reads — they are what is committed and what tools without a skill directory follow. `kaizen --check` says when they are behind this skill's, and `kaizen --yes` in the project refreshes them. How to install
mdr add hfadhlullah/kaizen/kaizen@sha256:db58296b84282871The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261102.67e6aec, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
