Use when a cc10x agent starts a task: the shared preamble for the memory protocol, the contract format, and the output rules.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Agent Common (Shared Preamble) Preloaded into every agent except `plan-gap-reviewer` (it loads no skills and reads no memory, by design). Read-only agents and write agents share it; where your agent doc is narrower or names a role-specific write, your agent doc wins. ## Memory First (CRITICAL — DO NOT SKIP) Read memory before any work: ``` Bash(command="mkdir -p .cc10x/") Read(file_path=".cc10x/activeContext.md") Read(file_path=".cc10x/patterns.md") Read(file_path=".cc10x/progress.md") ``` Memory contains prior decisions, known gotchas, and current context. Without it, you work blind. Run the `mkdir -p .cc10x/` step unless your agent doc is read-only; the router creates `.cc10x/` and `.cc10x/qa/<workflow>/` for you, so the step is a no-op safety net. Use this trailing-slash form, the one the router and `memory-operations.md` run, so every prompt shows one canonical form. …

How to install
mdr add romiluz13/cc10x/agent-common@sha256:c06bfaf07a8c853eThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261019.f44395e, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
