Use when changing or sharpening a project's domain model: challenge terms against
the glossary, sharpen fuzzy language, stress-test with edge-case scenarios, update
CONTEXT.md inline, and offer ADRs sparingly. In read-only mode it reads CONTEXT.md and
obeys it, emitting a proposal on contradiction rather than resolving it. See the

Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Domain Modeling
Actively build and sharpen the project's domain model as you design. This is the *active* discipline — challenging terms, inventing edge-case scenarios, and writing the glossary and decisions down the moment they crystallise. (Merely *reading* `CONTEXT.md` for vocabulary is not this skill — that's a one-line habit any skill can do. This skill is for when you're changing the model, not just consuming it.)
## Active vs read-only
This skill loads in two modes depending on which agent invoked it:
- **ACTIVE** (planner, doc-syncer, exploration in DESIGN mode): you shape the domain model. You challenge terms, sharpen language, write `CONTEXT.md` inline, and offer ADRs. You are a designated CONTEXT.md writer.

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.84fdb74, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
A 17 of 17 checks passed. Fixed automatic checks with no AI involved, so the same checks give the same answer every run.
