# Clause comparison table ## Purpose Put the same clause from two or more documents side by side so counsel can see, element by element, where the wordings agree, differ or fall silent. The skill extracts, aligns and describes. It does not rank wordings, does not say which is safer or more usual, and does not interpret effect under any law. Counsel decides what the differences mean. ## When to use - Several signed contracts with different counterparties, and the user wants one clause lined up across them (every liability cap in a supplier portfolio). - Successive drafts or versions of one agreement, and the user wants to see how a clause moved. - A counterparty draft against the organisation's template, one clause only. - Do not use for whole-contract review, use contract-review-pack instead, or for screening one NDA against standard positions, use nda-triage instead.
