HTTPie-compatible HTTP client for REST API calls.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. What the file says
`xh` CLI — HTTPie-compatible, cleaner than curl. ## Syntax ``` xh --ignore-stdin --session=agent METHOD https://endpoint Key:Value [key=value] [key==value] ``` - **Headers:** `Key:Value` (no space after colon) - **JSON body:** `key=value` (string) or `key:=value` (raw JSON) - **Query params:** `key==value` - **Method:** required for agent calls. Use explicit uppercase `GET` for reads so the permission rule can distinguish them from inferred writes. - **Body-less POST:** `xh --ignore-stdin --session=agent --json POST https://...` ## `--ignore-stdin` Always use `--ignore-stdin` in agent/non-TTY contexts. Without it, xh tries to read stdin and conflicts with body arguments. ## Sessions Sessions are pre-configured per host at `chezmoi apply` time. `--session=agent` resolves the correct credentials for each host automatically. Never pass an `Authorization:` header or a `$*_API_KEY` value — the session already carries the credentials for the host. If a request returns 401, the session may be stale — re-run `chezmoi apply` to refresh. ## GraphQL Pass query as a string field and variables as raw JSON: ```bash …

How to install
mdr add athal7/dotfiles/xh@sha256:c1390e0bfb1a5f91The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260915.c6e71bf, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
