The umbrella skill for the implementation methodology — how PRDs, technical designs, assumptions, and phase documents work together, plus the No Loose Ends session discipline every implementation session runs under. Covers the assumptions philosophy, confidence thresholds, decision flow, the materiality gate that keeps discoveries from becoming scope, the disposition rule for loose ends, the no-hollow-promises rule, the lineage gate, session markers, the done-means-done completion standard…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Implementation Lifecycle How implementation works in this method. This is the single umbrella skill: the framework (philosophy and decision logic) plus the **No Loose Ends** session discipline (how a session behaves around decisions — disposition of loose ends, when to ask, how to report). For procedural steps, see the specific skills referenced throughout. **"No loose ends" is this skill.** When the user says anything about loose ends — "make sure there are no loose ends," "no loose ends on this one" — they mean the Session Discipline section below. The name describes the failure it prevents: the AI says it's done, then hands over a list of FYIs, caveats, and "worth noting" items that are all undispositioned loose ends. **If a session has drifted** — FYIs and caveats piling up, stopping to ask questions with predictable answers, wrap-ups that promise future work instead of doing it — re-reading this skill is the way back on track. Everything below applies to every implementation session, whichever procedural skill is driving it. --- ## The Four Entities …

How to install
mdr add ensodynamics/enso-method/implementation-lifecycle@sha256:d13acba9e41dcd25The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261102.32695c3, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
