Produce the copy-paste prompt that starts the next chat. Line one is a short chat name; then the lineage block (the PRD and phase this chat serves, or an honest "no lineage found"); then the skill to use, the goal, where to work, pointers into the governing documents, and the single first action. Before writing the prompt it moves every fact the repo should own out of the prompt and into the governing document, so the prompt stays a pointer. Use whenever the user asks for…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Continuation Prompt The last thing most working sessions do is hand the next session a prompt. This skill owns that prompt: what goes in it, what must be written somewhere durable instead, how the chat gets named, and when the prompt is actually safe to paste. Three problems it exists to fix: 1. **Chat names.** Someone running a dozen chats finds them by tab title, and a tab shows roughly the first twenty characters. Auto-generated titles are summaries of the first prompt: too long, and they open with a generic verb. The name has to be short, its leftmost characters have to be the most distinguishing ones, and it has to be the very first characters of the prompt: the VS Code extension labels a new tab with the raw start of the first prompt until it picks up a title, so a prefix like `Chat:` there wastes the only real estate that matters. …

How to install
mdr add ensodynamics/enso-method/continuation-prompt@sha256:420f3ca6496c231eThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261030.0d2c5d0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
