Build and protect a daily GitHub contribution streak with real work, and find out why commits are missing from the contribution graph. Reads the graph through the GitHub API, shows current and longest streak, days missed, pace toward a goal such as 10,000 contributions, and checks the common reasons commits do not count (author email not linked, non default branch, fork, private contributions hidden). Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# GitHub Commit Streak A streak is proof of flight hours: shipping something every day. This skill measures it honestly and fixes the reasons real work goes uncounted. It does not create empty or fake commits. ## Step 1. Measure ```bash python scripts/streak.py --goal 10000 --by 2027-09-26 python scripts/streak.py --per-day 100 python scripts/streak.py --user someone --json ``` It prints total contributions in the last year, current streak, longest streak, zero days in the last 30, average per day, and the daily pace needed to hit the goal by the date. With `--per-day N` it also reports the last 7 and 30 closed days against a daily target: average over 7 days, days that reached the target, zero days, and the split by type (commits, pull requests, issues, reviews, new repositories). A GitHub day is a UTC day, so a day is only final after 00:00 UTC (07:00 in Vietnam); today's number is provisional. ## Step 2. Why commits are missing Check in this order and report which applies: 1. Author email: `git log -1 --format=%ae` must be an email verified on the GitHub account, or the account's noreply address `ID+login@users.noreply.github.com`. Fix with `git config user.email`. …

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
