# Supplier evaluation matrix ## Purpose Apply the criteria, weights and scoring scale the panel has agreed to two or more supplier responses and return one DRAFT weighted matrix: a provisional score for every criterion and supplier, the quoted evidence and anchor each score rests on, the arithmetic shown, and a register of every missing or partial answer. It is never the panel's score, never a recommendation, never an award or disqualification. The agent scores from the evidence; the panel moderates and decides. ## When to use - The user asks to score, weight, evaluate, rate or rank supplier, bid, tender or RFQ responses against criteria the panel has already agreed. - The user has the responses, or a side-by-side comparison, and wants weighted totals with the basis for every cell and every unanswered question surfaced before moderation. - Do not use for a comparison without scores, use rfp-comparison-pack instead; for writing criteria or a questionnaire, use rfp-requirements-pack instead; never for deciding the award. ## Inputs …
