# Capex request pack ## Purpose Assemble one DRAFT capital expenditure request pack from what the requester supplies. Costs, benefits, dates and lives are carried exactly as provided, each with its basis and source. The agent performs only arithmetic it shows (component totals, simple payback when both figures exist), never an estimate, benchmark, contingency or assumed rate. The approvals route comes from the delegation of authority the user provides; without it the route is UNKNOWN. Nothing in the pack approves spend, commits funds, raises a purchase order or authorises any work. ## When to use Run when the user asks to prepare, draft, structure or complete a capex request, capital request form, investment proposal, business case for equipment, plant, systems or a project, or an approval pack. Do not use for a board, committee or executive decision paper, use board-paper-skeleton instead; for an IT change or CAB submission, use change-request-pack; for a finance-lens review of a finished business case, use cfo-reviewer.
