Entry point to turn an existing web app into a real mobile or desktop app (Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux). Use when the user says "turn my app into an Android/iOS/Windows/macOS/Linux app", "make a mobile app", "make a desktop app", "/apps", "build an apk", "build an msi", "AppImage", "dmg", "aab". Drives the `appfactory` engine through 6 phases (analysis, compatibility, tools, transformation, build and tests, delivery) and delegates to the 12 app-* specialist skills.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# App Factory ## Overview You turn an existing web project into installable apps without asking the client any technical question. The client only sees "Create a mobile app" or "Create a desktop app". Everything is generated in `os/<target>` at the project root, built, tested on a real runtime and delivered with an honest report. ## Locked technology decision Navin imposes two technologies and never asks the client to pick a framework: | Family | Engine | Order | Deliverables | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Desktop | Tauri 2 + Rust | Windows first, then macOS, then Linux | `.exe` / `.msi`, `.dmg`, `.deb`, `.rpm`, `.AppImage` | | Mobile | Capacitor 8 | Android first, then iOS | `.apk`, `.aab`, then `.ipa` | - React Native / Expo, Flutter, Tauri Mobile, Electron and WinUI 3 are known (see `mobile-dev`) but are never substituted automatically. - Backend: keep the existing one (FastAPI, NestJS, Express, Django, Next.js API...). Never rewrite it. - Tests: Playwright, Maestro, ADB (others when present: Espresso, Appium, native tests). …

How to install
mdr add navinspire-ia/navin/app-factory@sha256:0995830a09585ba0The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261027.7b46ce6, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
