Ship a release, commit (or PR), bump the version, publish, create the GitHub release, run the deploy. - Use when the OWNER commands a ship, by /workkit:ship or the word in their own message ("ship it", "ship this"). A passing mention ("we can ship later") is not it; an agent never self-invokes.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Ship a Release
Autonomous ship pipeline: read the config, pick the bump, then run every step deterministically, with no round-based questions.
## Invocation args
- Parse the invocation text BEFORE anything else. When args resolve every decision, ask NOTHING and run the full pipeline. Otherwise it asks two questions only: which repo (Step 0) and a major bump (Step 1). The deploy confirmation (Step 6) is a gate, not a question, and only `deploy` in the args skips it.
- Bump: `patch` / `minor` / `major` uses that bump. An explicit version (`1.0.0`, `v1.0.0`) bumps to exactly it, a major included. `skip` / `no bump` skips the bump. A bump given here is never asked about.
- File scope: `all` / `everything` stages the whole tree (`git add -A`), the DEFAULT. Explicit paths or globs (`src/` `docs/`) stage ONLY those. A description ("just the prompt changes", "only the route files") stages only the matching files.
- Opt out: `no deploy` / `skip deploy` skips deploy without asking. `no publish` / `skip publish` is the only way to skip publish. `no prepare` skips prepare even if `scripts.prepare` exists. `no release` skips the GitHub release. `no changelog` skips the CHANGELOG update.

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
