resend SKILL.md skillF
resend from asymmetric-al/core is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add asymmetric-al/core/resend@v3.10.0Pins v3.10.0 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Use when working with the Resend email API — sending transactional emails (single or batch), receiving inbound emails via webhooks, managing email templates, tracking delivery events, managing domains, contacts, broadcasts, webhooks, API keys, automations, events, viewing API request logs, or setting up the Resend SDK. Always use this skill when the user mentions Resend, even for simple tasks like "send an email with Resend" — the skill contains critical gotchas…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Resend
## Quick Send — Node.js
```typescript
import { Resend } from 'resend';
const resend = new Resend(process.env.RESEND_API_KEY);
const { data, error } = await resend.emails.send(
{
from: 'Acme <onboarding@resend.dev>',
to: ['delivered@resend.dev'],
subject: 'Hello World',
html: '<p>Email body here</p>',
},
{ idempotencyKey: `welcome-email/${userId}` }
);
if (error) {
console.error('Failed:', error.message);
return;
}
console.log('Sent:', data.id);
```
**Key gotcha:** The Resend Node.js SDK does NOT throw exceptions — it returns `{ data, error }`. Always check `error` explicitly instead of using try/catch for API errors.
## Quick Send — Python
```python
import resend
import os
resend.api_key = os.environ["RESEND_API_KEY"]
email = resend.Emails.send({
"from": "Acme <onboarding@resend.dev>",
"to": ["delivered@resend.dev"],
"subject": "Hello World",
"html": "<p>Email body here</p>",
}, idempotency_key=f"welcome-email/{user_id}")
```
### Single vs Batch Decision
| Choose | When |
|--------|------|
| **Single** (`POST /emails`) | 1 email, needs attachments, needs scheduling |

How to install
mdr add asymmetric-al/core/resend@sha256:dbe743c88fe5f8c5The line at the top of this page pins the label v3.10.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
