Moirae pack — renders YAML screenplays into terminal-as-cinema videos via asciinema, agg, and ffmpeg. External pack requiring the moirae package plus system binaries.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Moirae
The moirae pack renders a YAML screenplay into a scripted terminal/CLI demo
video with typewriter text, simulated agent Q&A, and camera moves.
## Actions
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| `moirae.moirae` | Take a Moirae screenplay YAML file and produce a terminal-as-cinema video via asciinema → agg → ffmpeg. |
## When to use
- Use `moirae.moirae` to turn a screenplay file into a polished terminal demo
video.
## When NOT to use
- Do not use for trimming real video files — use the `media` pack.
- Do not use for assembling iteration videos from run provenance — use the
`iteration` pack.
## Requirements
- `moirae` package installed
- `asciinema`, `agg`, and `ffmpeg` binaries on PATH
## Quick-start
```python
import astrid.sdk as sdk
result = sdk.invoke("moirae.moirae", inputs={"screenplay": "./demo.yaml"}, out="./out")
```Read the whole file at its exact version.
How to install
mdr add banodoco/astrid-agent/moirae@sha256:bccea7c19531b05eThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261014.71d43e0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
