Indexed from public GitHub and served as immutable, content-addressed versions. # Ask Matt
You don't remember every skill, so ask.
A **flow** is a path through the skills. Most paths run along one **main flow**, and two **on-ramps** merge onto it. Everything else is standalone, or a vocabulary layer that runs underneath.
## The main flow: idea → ship
The route most work travels. You have an idea and want it built.
1. **Choose the grill depth.** Use **`/grill-with-docs`** for the normal codebase-backed interview: it is stateful, retaining what it learns in `CONTEXT.md` and ADRs. Use **`/grill-for-unknowns` instead** only when the user explicitly requests its map-vs-territory pass, blindspot/unknown-unknown discovery, unknown-known prototypes, or a subagent launch packet; it owns that session's grilling loop, so do not also run `/grilling` or `/grill-with-docs`. 2. **Branch — can you settle every question in conversation?** If a question needs a runnable answer (state, business logic, a UI you have to see), detour through a prototype, bridged by **`/handoff`** in both directions (see Crossing sessions):

Pin to a label to follow the author's releases, or to a sha256 to freeze the exact bytes forever. Either way the resolved hash is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install reproduces it on any machine.
