Brand monitoring and mention tracking via the Brand.dev API. Use when asked to monitor brand mentions, track sentiment, find PR opportunities, detect logo usage, or analyze brand presence online. Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Brand Monitor
Track brand mentions, analyze sentiment, and discover PR opportunities using the Brand.dev API.
## Prerequisites
Requires `BRANDDEV_API_KEY` set in `.env`, `.env.local`, or `~/.claude/.env.global`.

## API Base
All requests go to `https://api.brand.dev/v1/` with the header `Authorization: Bearer {BRANDDEV_API_KEY}`.

Search for mentions of a brand name across the web.

How to install
mdr add openclaudia/openclaudia-skills/brand-monitor@sha256:4c023136721766f6The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260211.ed7ff86, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
