Generate or edit raster images with the built-in image tool and save them locally, including transparent PNGs. Use for bitmap assets and image edits, not prompt-only requests or vector/code-native artwork.

# Image Creator Complete one generation-and-save cycle per requested asset or variant. Use the built-in `image_gen` tool without API or CLI fallbacks. Save images at the requested destination, including a calling skill's run folder for intermediate assets. If separate working files are needed, use the project-root-relative `.codex-skills/image-creator/<run-id>/` unless another workspace was requested; choose a unique ID for new work and reuse its path when continuing. Do not create an empty workspace for a direct generation-and-save cycle. Preserve files needed for recovery and remove only expendable files from this run. When creating the default workspace in a Git project, ensure `/.codex-skills/` is ignored unless the user intends to version that data. ## Prepare the Request - Separate creative instructions from input paths, destination, and overwrite permission. - For ordinary requests, write concise English preserving the subject, action, composition, style, exclusions, and exact rendered text. Leave unspecified details open; do not add quality claims, camera settings, unrelated exclusions, or aspect-ratio hints. …

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
