Play 오목/Gomoku against the user on a local GUI board, with Codex choosing moves and maintaining the live game session. Use for playing or resuming a game, not building a game engine.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # Gomoku Codex chooses moves; the Python/Pygame helper displays the board and validates legality. During play, do not write or run an AI search/scoring engine or read the backing storage. Use the helper's Codex view. Set `SKILL_DIR` to this skill's absolute directory and run from the session project root. Store game state in `.codex-skills/gomoku/<run-id>/` unless the user chooses another workspace. Choose a unique ID for a new game session and pass the same `--run-dir` on every call; reuse the original folder to resume. For an older standalone state file, keep using `GOMOKU_STATE_PATH` instead. Preserve game state while play or resumption is needed. The script declares its pygame dependency for uv. When creating the default workspace in a Git project, ensure `/.codex-skills/` is ignored unless the user intends to version that data. ## Start and Play Launch the GUI: ```bash uv run --script "$SKILL_DIR/scripts/gomoku_gui.py" --run-dir <run-dir> --gui ``` New games open on settings. Let the user choose them and click Start Game; use `--start-game` only when the user explicitly requests starting with the current settings. Settings changes alone do not start play. …

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
