# Coddy Agent UI Specification Purpose: authoritative reference for the embedded SPA built from `external/ui/`. Tokens and layouts live here before CSS tweaks land in production stylesheets. ## Design references Store the design reference images under `docs/assets/` and link to the specific file when describing a pixel sensitive UI detail. Navbar parity with Cursor - style mockups lives in [`docs/assets/INDEX.md`](docs/assets/INDEX.md) (see Navbar section). ## Foundations ### Contract ownership and verification - **One fact, one visual location.** A status, result, duration or action is shown in the surface that owns it and is not repeated in adjacent transcript rows, panels or labels unless accessibility needs an equivalent hidden name. - **Measure browser geometry at the browser boundary.** A geometry-sensitive contract uses a live-browser check when jsdom cannot perform layout. Component and source-contract tests still own DOM semantics, but they do not substitute for measured geometry. - **External products are references, not contracts.** A product may explain historical inspiration; only the behavior specified here is normative for Coddy. ### Color …

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
