Harvest a founder community (a subreddit, a forum, a newsletter archive) for what is actually working in app marketing, pricing, ASO and growth, then filter it honestly and file the few findings worth keeping. Drops milestone and promotional posts, keeps only claims that either converge with an unrelated source or contradict something the project already believes, and ranks the survivors against the app's real stage. Use when the user wants to learn from other founders, asks what is working…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Mine a community Founder communities are full of people describing what worked for them. Most of it is noise, some of it is advertising, and a little of it is the most useful input available to someone running an app alone. This turns a community into a few findings worth acting on, and throws the rest away. This is not the research skill. Research answers a question you already have. This reads a room and tells you which few things in it apply to you. ## The honesty rules These exist because the failure mode here is confident nonsense, and it is expensive: a founder spends a week on a tactic that never worked for anyone. **Everything is a claim, not a measurement.** Nobody in a community posts audited numbers. A revenue screenshot is a screenshot. Write "a dev reports", never "it is proven that". **Assume survivorship bias, and say so out loud.** A top posts listing from a founder community is a sample of winners and self promoters. The people whose identical tactic produced nothing do not post. Count the failures in your sample and put the number in the output. If it is near zero, the sample cannot tell you a tactic's success rate, only that the tactic sometimes works. …

How to install
mdr add namedtoaster/the-last-mile/mine-community@sha256:f00e2fc81c970a11The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261020.8caec6f, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
