# Cash forecast assumptions sheet ## Purpose Read one cash forecast and the notes or narrative that accompany it, and extract every assumption it rests on into one DRAFT sheet a reviewer can work through row by row. An assumption is any input the forecast treats as given, from a collection pattern or payment term to an opening balance, a facility limit or a formula choice. The agent extracts; the reviewer challenges; the forecast owner answers. The agent never re-forecasts, rates an assumption or states what the cash position will be. ## When to use Run when the user asks to list, extract or tabulate the assumptions behind a cash forecast, liquidity plan or rolling weekly cash view, or to prepare challenge questions for a treasury, finance, lender or board review of one. Do not use for actuals against budget by line, use budget-variance-explainer instead; for the case behind a capital request, use capex-request-pack.
