## Scope

Git as a local tool: branches and worktrees, rebase and merge, conflicts, commit granularity and
messages, history rewriting and its guardrails, recovering work that appears to be gone, bisect
and history archaeology, hooks and signing, submodules and subtrees, and the mechanics of
finishing a branch.
