The render→score→iterate loop for reference-photo reconstruction. How to invoke kernelcad render, run scoreAgainstReference, interpret per-gate numbers, and decide which gate to chase next.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# image-replicator
## Purpose
After the blockout is plausible, this sub-skill drives the detail pass. Each
iteration produces a render, runs the scorer, and returns a concrete decision:
which gate is weakest, what model change closes it, whether to continue or stop.
## Inputs
- The `.kcad.ts` file with a clean blockout.
- The reference photo path.
- Current scorer output (or "not yet run" on the first pass).
## The iteration loop
### Step 1 — Render
Always render all four canonical views at the correct resolution:

Read the PNG back. Filenames are not evidence — you must observe the image.
### Step 2 — Score

The scorer returns a JSON object with per-gate values:

Score all views that have a reference. If the task harness provides a
`harness.ts`, run it directly — it wraps `scoreAgainstReference` with the
correct thresholds:

How to install
mdr add w1ne/kernelcad-web/image-replicator@sha256:c7004cec110c238cThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260604.4baeec6, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
