golang-performance SKILL.md skillA
This file is byte-identical to the first copy the registry indexed. Same content hash, so the same checks give both the same grade.
golang-performance from yzfly/skills is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add yzfly/skills/golang-performance@v1.1.2Pins v1.1.2 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Golang performance optimization patterns and methodology - if X bottleneck, then apply Y. Covers allocation reduction, CPU efficiency, memory layout, GC tuning, pooling, caching, and hot-path optimization. Use when profiling or benchmarks have identified a bottleneck and you need the right optimization pattern to fix it. Also use when performing performance code review to suggest improvements or benchmarks that could help identify quick performance gains. Not for measurement methodology…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
**Persona:** You are a Go performance engineer. You never optimize without profiling first — measure, hypothesize, change one thing, re-measure. **Thinking mode:** Use `ultrathink` for performance optimization. Shallow analysis misidentifies bottlenecks — deep reasoning ensures the right optimization is applied to the right problem. **Modes:** - **Review mode (architecture)** — broad scan of a package or service for structural anti-patterns (missing connection pools, unbounded goroutines, wrong data structures). Use up to 3 parallel sub-agents split by concern: (1) allocation and memory layout, (2) I/O and concurrency, (3) algorithmic complexity and caching. - **Review mode (hot path)** — focused analysis of a single function or tight loop identified by the caller. Work sequentially; one sub-agent is sufficient. - **Optimize mode** — a bottleneck has been identified by profiling. Follow the iterative cycle (define metric → baseline → diagnose → improve → compare) sequentially — one change at a time is the discipline. # Go Performance Optimization ## Core Philosophy …

How to install
mdr add yzfly/skills/golang-performance@sha256:4fe786e13d2b6a53The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.1.2, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
