# Design MD Extractor ## Purpose Turn a website URL into a `DESIGN.md` design-system document that conforms to the [google-labs-code/design.md](https://github.com/google-labs-code/design.md) specification: YAML front-matter tokens plus design-critique prose. The value is spec conformance and honesty about observed values — the file must pass `npx @google/design.md lint`, and it must never contain invented tokens. ## When to Use - The user gives a URL and asks for a `DESIGN.md`, design system, or design tokens. - The user asks to analyse a brand's or site's visual style into a reusable document. - Trigger phrases: "create a DESIGN.md for [url]", "extract design system from [url]", "generate design tokens for [url]", "analyze [brand]'s visual style", "帮我分析 [url] 的设计系统", "为 [网站] 生成 DESIGN.md", "提取设计 token". - Expected outputs: full design system (`DESIGN.md for [url]`), tokens plus summary (`extract design tokens from [url]`), or `DESIGN.md` plus inline analysis (`analyze [url]'s visual style`). ## When NOT to Use - The user wants generated images or visual assets rather than a specification document -> hand off to `image-design` or `spec-image`. …
