Edit, transform, and inspect an existing .gsplats.zarr dataset with the Luxar CLI. Use when a user has already-fitted Gaussian splats and wants to crop/slice, spatially transform (scale/rotate/translate/center), rescale intensity, cull or filter splats, partition into spatial parts, flatten an LOD/partition tree to a single leaf, ladder existing leaves (additive), re-quantize the Cholesky encoding (reencode), retrofit LOD quality stamps (annotate-quality), merge datasets…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Edit & inspect a fitted .gsplats.zarr These `luxar gsplat` subcommands operate on an **already-fitted** dataset (the output of `fit` / `batch-fit`). For fitting a volume, calibration, and LOD recipes, use the **`luxar-gsplat-pipeline`** skill; for whole-timelapse fitting, **`luxar-hpc-batch-fit`**. The read-only inspection commands (`info` / `render` / `compare` / `view` / `napari`) accept flat, partition, or nested LOD stores. `partition`, `cull`, `filter`, `slice`, and `decimate` require a flat (matrix-shaped) store; run `luxar gsplat flatten` first for partition or nested inputs. `merge` flattens such an input itself (same code as `flatten`, staged in a temporary store) and says so. Most *editing* commands accept `--encoding`/`-e` and usually `--compress`, and write a new dataset (non-destructive). How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
