# Idaho Discovery > **NOT LEGAL ADVICE.** This skill helps draft and respond to discovery. > Verify against the current Idaho Rules of Civil Procedure and the > court's local rules and any scheduling order before serving or filing. Use this skill alongside `id-statewide-format`, `id-law-references`, and (where applicable) `id-first-30-days`. The Idaho civil discovery framework lives in **I.R.C.P. 26-37** and applies in the **District Court** and the **Magistrate Division**. Pull the verbatim rule text from `../id-law-references/references/court-rules/` before serving or responding. ## Idaho allows written interrogatories Idaho permits the full toolkit of party discovery — written interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and depositions — without leave of court. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
