Use the gh-rev CLI to maintain a persistent Markdown review ledger for local branches and pull requests. Trigger when the user names gh-rev, asks to save or submit a durable review, inspect or implement existing findings, continue an independent review pass, or adopt branch history into a PR. Use the gh-pr-review skill for review content and judgment. Do not use this skill for a one-off review without a durable ledger.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# gh-rev Command `gh-rev` is a CLI tool that records Markdown review revisions outside source repositories, normally under `~/gh`. This skill explains how to use that tool to select targets, read history, allocate revisions, and resolve findings. ## Compose with the gh-pr-review skill Read and use the `gh-pr-review` skill whenever evaluating code or filling in a review. It supplies the review criteria, investigation standards, evidence, actionable findings, and recommendation. Apply it to the exact review range selected by the CLI. Record that review in the template allocated by `gh-rev next`. Keep the ledger sections and exact finding markers described below; use the `gh-pr-review` skill to determine their content rather than copying its standalone output format over the ledger template. The CLI manages review records; it does not perform the code review. ## Choose the workflow Read [references/cli.md](references/cli.md) for CLI discovery, installation, command purposes, and target selection. How to install
mdr add unique-divine/jiyuu/gh-rev@sha256:b281fcda4977c891The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261019.d94b888, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
