Create a new Agent App. Scaffolds, develops, validates, and launches a local web app with persistent state and an agent-operable surface. Load when the user wants custom software built. This is the stack-agnostic method; read your blueprint's reference/blueprint.md for the migration/hook/UI-kit specifics.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Creator An Agent App is a self-contained web app: a backend (data, auth, realtime, custom operations) serving a frontend, with an **A2App adapter** as the ONLY agent surface. You declare schema, compose UI, wire operations — the framework and the adapter own the rest. A human uses the View; an agent operates the same data through the adapter; both converge on one Model. This skill is the method. If you scaffolded from a blueprint, read that blueprint's **`reference/blueprint.md`** FIRST — it is the authoritative map of that stack: which files are yours versus system-owned, the schema/migration API, how operations are implemented, the UI kit, external calls, and the gate. It carries the specifics you cannot get right from general knowledge, so you never have to reverse-engineer the adapter or the kit from source. Where this skill says "per your stack", `reference/blueprint.md` is the answer. ## Step 0: Have a project 1. **You were given a project directory** → it is already scaffolded; use it, skip scaffolding. 2. **No project yet** → `agent-app <dir> scaffold --blueprint <id>` scaffolds the framework files, the adapter, and the ownership canon. Pick `authMode` from …

How to install
mdr add craftos-dev/agent-app/creator@sha256:ddadc01097a25275The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260928.6e41aa9, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
