ocean-water from wolffe/three.js-skills is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.

Use when a Three.js WebGPU scene needs a large open sea or coast that follows the camera, with planar reflections, depth-coloured water over a real seabed, shore and crest foam, and an underwater view; also when adding a planar mirror (lake, ice, wet floor, a one-layer puddle reflection). Ships `ocean.tsl.js` (class Ocean) and `planar-reflection.js` (class PlanarReflection).
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Ocean water Target: Three.js 0.187.0, `three/webgpu` and TSL node materials from `three/tsl`; WebGPU only, no WebGL fallback, no GLSL strings. This is the implementation kit for open water. The principles (reflection vs transmission, depth absorption, foam placement, scale variants) are in the `water` skill; read that first. Two companion files, copy them into the project; they import only from `three/webgpu` and `three/tsl`: - `scripts/ocean.tsl.js`: `class Ocean`, plus `OCEAN_DEFAULTS`, `OCEAN_PRESETS`, `buildWaveSet()`, `makeWaterGeometry()` - `scripts/planar-reflection.js`: `class PlanarReflection`, `planarReflectionSample()`, `PLANAR_REFLECTION_DEFAULTS` ## What it is One mesh: a sea sheet centred on the camera. The inner disc is a dense uniform grid that carries a Gerstner wave spectrum; the outer ring is coarse, flat and fogged out to under the far plane. The unlit material does all the optics itself: a planar reflection from three's `reflector()` (half resolution, rendered once per frame as a top-level pass, on a layer whitelist), the refracted scene behind the water, Schlick Fresnel …

How to install
mdr add wolffe/three.js-skills/ocean-water@sha256:57c5a56fd5f1f45aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261031.50d32a4, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
