End-to-end self-healing loop for openproxy — build+install locally, wire up a free opencode model, point codex at openproxy, smoke-test via `codex exec`, sweep every CLI subcommand for real coverage, run the repo's unit/integration tests, and if anything fails go back to research → fix → test → rebuild → reinstall until everything passes. Use when the user asks to "loop test fix openproxy", validate a local openproxy build end-to-end with codex/opencode, exercise "all CLI features/flags", or…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# openproxy loop-test-fix
Self-driving verification loop. No orchestration script — just follow these steps in order, each
turn, using your own judgment for the "research → fix" part when something breaks. Keep looping
until the exit condition is met or you're blocked and need the user.
## Loop body
1. **Build + install openproxy locally**
- `cargo build --release` (or the project's usual release build).
- Install/link the freshly built binary so it's the one on PATH / used by codex config
(check `install.sh` / `update-openproxy.sh` for the project's own install convention —
prefer those over ad-hoc copying).
- If the build fails: that's a bug — go to step 5 (research → fix) before continuing.
2. **Set up the `opencode` provider (free/no-auth) — NOT `opencode-go` or `opencode-zen`**
- openproxy has **three distinct providers** that all sound alike — do not conflate them:
- `opencode` (alias `oc`) — the free, no-auth one. **This is the one to use for this loop.**
- `opencode-go` — a separate provider, different base URL (`https://opencode.ai/zen/go/v1`).

How to install
mdr add quangdang46/openproxy/loop-test-fix@sha256:1c6095e60e6e503aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260918.ad55338, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
