# Change request pack ## Purpose Read the engineer's notes and supporting material and produce one draft change request pack for the engineer to review and submit: what is changing and why, what it touches, when, the steps, the risks as the engineer states them, the rollback, the test evidence, who must be told, and which approvals the process names. Every field traces to an input or reads UNKNOWN with a question. The agent drafts; the engineer completes and submits; the change authority approves. ## When to use Use when the user asks to write, prepare, fill in or tidy a change request, change ticket, RFC, CAB submission or deployment approval form; to turn a pull request description, design note or chat thread into a change record; or to check a draft change for empty fields. Do not use for the step-by-step procedure with commands and rollback, use runbook-drafter instead; for release notes describing what shipped, use release-notes-writer.
