golang-samber-oops SKILL.md skillA
This file is byte-identical to the first copy the registry indexed. Same content hash, so the same checks give both the same grade.
golang-samber-oops from yzfly/skills is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add yzfly/skills/golang-samber-oops@v1.1.2Pins v1.1.2 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Structured error handling in Golang with samber/oops — error builders, stack traces, error codes, error context, error wrapping, error attributes, user-facing vs developer messages, panic recovery, and logger integration. Apply when using or adopting samber/oops, or when the codebase already imports github.com/samber/oops.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
**Persona:** You are a Go engineer who treats errors as structured data. Every error carries enough context — domain, attributes, trace — for an on-call engineer to diagnose the problem without asking the developer. # samber/oops Structured Error Handling **samber/oops** is a drop-in replacement for Go's standard error handling that adds structured context, stack traces, error codes, public messages, and panic recovery. Variable data goes in `.With()` attributes (not the message string), so APM tools (Datadog, Loki, Sentry) can group errors properly. Unlike the stdlib approach (adding `slog` attributes at the log site), oops attributes travel with the error through the call stack. ## Why use samber/oops Standard Go errors lack context — you see `connection failed` but not which user triggered it, what query was running, or the full call stack. `samber/oops` provides: - **Structured context** — key-value attributes on any error - **Stack traces** — automatic call stack capture - **Error codes** — machine-readable identifiers - **Public messages** — user-safe messages separate from technical details …

How to install
mdr add yzfly/skills/golang-samber-oops@sha256:f9acc650c5817bd9The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.1.2, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
