Find which searches are rising or falling for the site and its market, spot seasonal peaks, and check new topics against social and news signals before writing about them. Ends with a short timing plan for the next three months. Use when the owner asks what people are searching for now, what is trending in their market, or when to publish seasonal pages.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Search demand and trends Goal: the owner knows which topics are gaining or losing searches, which ones peak at a season, and which trends are worth a page. Acceptance: every trend in the plan has at least two signals with their sources and dates, fits what the business sells or knows, and has a date to publish or refresh. ## 1. The site's own demand Search Console is the most reliable signal because it is the site's own data. 1. `search_console` with `days: 28`, then again with `days: 56`. RankMySEO returns each query's totals for one window only, without the window before and without the page that showed. A query's previous 28 days is its 56-day number minus its 28-day number. Each answer lists the top 200 queries, so a query missing from either list is not compared; say so. 2. The daily `series` in the same answer shows the whole site's trend. `allowedDays` says how far back the plan reads. When it reaches past a year, read the series for the same weeks last year to spot the site's seasons. 3. For one query's season, or for country and device splits, use Search Console's own compare view (the owner, or a direct connector), or Google Trends below. …

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
