Use when starting on a project with no ~/.claude/projects/{slug}/ memory, taking over an existing codebase, or when /new-project alone is not enough. Profiles the stack, checks CLAUDE.md fields, inits memory and task-store, and checks skill-routing.md. Runs tech-stack inside; do not chain it separately.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Pipeline: Onboard
Bring a project into this system. One command, four stages.
**Anti-redundancy:** This pipeline calls tech-stack (profiler mode) in Stage 1.
Do NOT add a separate `/tech-stack` call after running this pipeline.

Required:
- **Project slug**: the short name used in `/pd-spawn`, `/recall`, `medium-term.md`
- **Project path**: absolute path to the project root (e.g. `~/projects/my-app`)
Optional:
- **PD needed**: `yes` if this project needs a PD registered in `medium-term.md`
- **Description**: one-line description for medium-term.md

## Stage 1 — Tech Stack Profile (tech-stack profiler)
Invoke `/tech-stack` in **profiler mode**:
- Project: {project-path}
- Output: `~/.claude/projects/{slug}/memory/tech-profile.md`
This scans package.json, CLAUDE.md, docker-compose.yml, deployment configs, and
source structure. Output is a structured tech-profile.md.

How to install
mdr add tekkiiiii/the-agency/pipeline-onboard@sha256:b03276bb7c226fd6The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.04729ed, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
