# Knowledge article drafter ## Purpose Turn one resolved incident or ticket thread into one draft article for the knowledge owner: what the user saw, where, what the resolver said the cause was, what fixed it or worked around it, how closure was confirmed, and what is related. Every sentence traces to a note or reads UNKNOWN. The agent drafts and redacts; the owner confirms the cause wording, tests the steps, sets visibility and publishes. ## When to use Use when the user asks to write or tidy a knowledge article, known-error article, fix note or how-to from a resolved ticket, incident thread or resolver notes, or to update an existing article from a newer ticket. Do not use for a procedure the team will execute (runbook, operating procedure, playbook), use runbook-drafter instead; this skill writes the knowledge record of what was seen and what fixed it.
