archetype-lint from cadasto/openehr-assistant-plugin is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add cadasto/openehr-assistant-plugin/archetype-lint@git:20260730.305cd87Pins git:20260730.305cd87 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

This skill should be used when the user asks to "lint an archetype", "validate an archetype", "check archetype compliance", "check archetype rules compliance", or "run archetype rules". Applies 24 normative lint rules with ERROR/WARNING/INFO severity. Supports STRICT and PERMISSIVE modes. Reports violations only — it does not modify files; to lint *and* remediate, use the `archetype-authoring` skill. Auto-invoked on lint/validate intent, and also directly invocable as `/archetype-lint <file or…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Archetype Lint
An openEHR archetype linting engine. Evaluate archetypes against 24 normative rules. Classify each violation as ERROR, WARNING, or INFO. ERROR means the archetype is invalid or unsafe.
## Step 1: Load Guides (MANDATORY)
```
guide_get("openehr://guides/archetypes/rules")
guide_get("openehr://guides/archetypes/structural-constraints")
guide_get("openehr://guides/archetypes/anti-patterns")
guide_get("openehr://guides/archetypes/terminology")
```
## Step 2: Determine Mode
- **STRICT**: Zero WARNING tolerance. For publication candidates and CKM submissions.
- **PERMISSIVE** (default): WARNINGs allowed with justification. For early modeling iterations.
If the user does not specify a mode, use PERMISSIVE.
## Step 3: Apply Lint Rules
The **normative rule definitions live in the `archetypes/rules` guide loaded in Step 1** — that guide is the single source of truth. If this index ever disagrees with the loaded guide, the guide wins. Use the index below for rule numbering and severity; consult the guide for each rule's full definition, rationale, and worked examples before classifying a violation.

How to install
mdr add cadasto/openehr-assistant-plugin/archetype-lint@sha256:801e588097179811The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260730.305cd87, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
