Answer what is installed and keep it right. List the skills and agents in this project or for the user, say where each came from, find edited, missing or unmanaged ones and why one isn't loading in Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, and install, update or remove them from a registry. Use for any question about installed skills or agents, instead of listing .claude/skills or .agents/skills, and when asked to add or connect a registry, see what it offers, read a skill or agent, or check installs in CI.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Install from a registry An artifact's full name is `<registry>/<namespace>/<name>`, optionally `@<version>`. Add the kind, as in `<registry>/<namespace>/skill/<name>`, only when a skill and an agent share the name. Pass `--json` to every command and read `data`; nothing prompts under `--json`. ## Answer from aireg, not from the folders `.claude/skills` and `.agents/skills` hold the user's own skills beside links to installed copies, and `.registry/` holds aireg's own files. Listing or reading them can't tell an installed copy from the user's own, an edited one or one that's behind, so answer with aireg: | Ask | Command | | --- | --- | | What is installed | `aireg list --json` | | Where one came from, and its version | `aireg list <name> --json`: `data.registry`, `data.address`, `data.version` | | Edited, missing in a harness, or why one isn't loading | `aireg status --json`: each of `data.artifacts` has its `state` and `harnesses`; `data.unmanaged` lists the skills in the harness folders that aireg doesn't manage | | Behind its registry | `aireg outdated --json` | …

How to install
mdr add atlanai/ai-registry/aireg-add@sha256:ba177de5ef5e9fb9The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261014.5e72f77, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
