# Context pressure
The harness auto-summarizes long context; no manual /compact nudging. In a PD session above 75%: complete the current task, then `/save-state`; at 80%: `/respawn-self` (Coords: `/coord-respawn-self`). Retention policy and rollback threshold: `{agency-root}/runbooks/context-pressure-management.md`; respawn rules: `{agency-root}/runbooks/respawn-contract.md`.Read the whole file at its exact version.
How to install
mdr add tekkiiiii/the-agency/context-pressure@sha256:8d433f1d7cce6010The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.04729ed, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
