Opens or updates a pull request on GitHub or Azure DevOps: selects the provider from the git remote, resolves the target branch from evidence, writes the title and description from the host conventions and template, creates or updates the PR through the provider MCP server or CLI, verifies it, and follows CI and review through merge. Use when asked to create, open, submit, or update a PR. Do not use for addressing review comments on an existing PR (use pr-review-fix-comments) or for writing…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Create Pull Request Use this skill to open or update a pull request in the host repository, on GitHub or Azure DevOps. This file is provider-neutral: it decides the target branch, title, linked work, and description once, the same way on every provider. Every command, tool name, and template path lives in the provider file selected below. ## Provider Selection Resolve the provider before anything else, in this order: 1. Explicit provider in `$ARGUMENTS` (`github` / `gh` / `azdo` / `ado` / `azure-devops`). 2. Remote URL of the current git repo: - contains `dev.azure.com` or `visualstudio.com` -> Azure DevOps - contains `github.com` -> GitHub 3. Only one of the two provider MCP servers is connected -> that provider. 4. Otherwise ask the user which provider and stop. Then read the matching provider file and use only its tools: | Provider | Provider file | |---|---| | Azure DevOps | [providers/azure-devops.md](providers/azure-devops.md) | | GitHub | [providers/github.md](providers/github.md) | Rules: - Read exactly one provider file per run. Do not mix tools across providers. …

How to install
mdr add dpalfery/kyber-weave/create-pull-request@sha256:1904c4362da7756bThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261026.95412c0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
