## Shape the change - Keep each pull request tiny and independently reviewable without splitting one coherent behavior across arbitrary layers. - When related changes depend on one another, use `gh stack` for bottom-to-top branch order and stacked PR bases. Load `gh-stack` for stack operations and their hazards. - One independent PR: use the normal GitHub workflow, not `gh stack`. - This dotfiles repository is the exception: no PRs; deploy with `chezmoi-deploy <branch>`. ## Commit - Do not commit with a failing required check. - Never stage globally ignored files such as `.talismanrc`. - Use Conventional Commit subjects: `type(scope): description`. - Use `feat`, `fix`, `refactor`, `docs`, `test`, or `chore`. - Use a semantic scope, not a ticket number. - Write the description in imperative mood, lowercase, with no trailing period, under 72 characters. - Include a `Co-Authored-By` trailer for the model that produced the change. - Use the model provider domain in the trailer email, not the harness domain. How to install
mdr add athal7/dotfiles/shipit@sha256:02ea38afb5158b28The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261018.31485f6, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
