Monitor PR checks and fix failures until green. Uses gh pr checks as the source of truth for PR-attached checks.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Loop on CI ## Trigger Need to watch a branch or pull request and iterate on CI failures until all required checks are green. Use `gh pr checks` as the source of truth. It includes all PR-attached checks, while `gh run list` only covers GitHub Actions. ## Workflow 1. Resolve the PR for the current branch. 2. Inspect current PR checks before waiting. 3. If checks already failed, diagnose those failures first. 4. If checks are pending, watch with `gh pr checks --watch --fail-fast`. 5. After each push, re-check the full PR check set and repeat until green. ## Commands ```bash # Resolve the active PR gh pr view --json number,url,headRefName # Inspect all attached checks gh pr checks --json name,bucket,state,workflow,link # Watch pending checks and fail fast gh pr checks --watch --fail-fast # GitHub Actions logs, when the failing check links to a GHA run gh run view <run-id> --log-failed ``` ## Guardrails - Keep each fix scoped to a single failure cause when possible. - Do not bypass hooks (`--no-verify`) to force progress. - If the failure is clearly unrelated to the PR and appears fixed on main, merge latest main instead of bloating the PR with unrelated fixes. …

How to install
mdr add asymmetric-al/core/loop-on-ci@sha256:66b85dbd2bc37003The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260625.a8637f3, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
