# Knowledge base hygiene review ## Purpose Read a set of knowledge files, or a listing with whatever bodies are available, and produce one draft hygiene table: which files duplicate or overlap each other, which show staleness signals, which contradict another file on the same topic, which lack a current owner, which are structurally incomplete, and one proposed action per file with the signals behind it. Every signal carries a code and quoted evidence. The agent proposes; the owners decide and perform every change in the knowledge tool. ## When to use Use when the user asks to review, audit, clean up or deduplicate a knowledge base, wiki space, folder of how-tos, runbook set or service desk article collection for duplication, staleness, conflicts or ownership gaps.
