Use this skill to show the user anything visual — design mockups, UI/UX wireframes, layout or option comparisons, architecture and data-flow diagrams, charts, tables, dashboards, timelines, state machines, or any content clearer laid out spatially than as prose. Whenever you or another skill generates an HTML page for the user to view, present it in Toastty by default — publish it here instead of running `open` or launching an external browser — and prefer it over screenshotting an HTML file…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Toastty Scratchpad **Reach for the Scratchpad whenever you have something visual to show the user — not only when asked for one.** If you produced a mockup, comparison, or diagram, present the result here rather than pointing the user at a file path. This includes artifacts you rendered and screenshotted with `agent-browser` to validate: the screenshot is for *your* verification, the Scratchpad is how the *user* sees it. The same default applies when another skill or workflow produces an HTML page for the user — an explainer, report, comparison, or demo. In a Toastty-managed session, do not run `open` on the generated file or launch an external browser. Publish self-contained HTML to the Scratchpad. If the page genuinely exceeds Scratchpad constraints (multi-file assets, remote scripts, content over roughly 1 MB), open it in a Toastty browser panel instead via `panel.create.browser` with a `file://` URL; the toastty-capabilities skill covers workspace targeting. Fall back to an external browser only when the user explicitly asks for one. …

How to install
mdr add figelwump/toastty/toastty-scratchpad@sha256:ce83e84ec6a40295The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261017.03ac3d0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
