Das deutsche Erbrecht ordnet die Verwandten nach Ordnungen (§§ 1924–1930 BGB) und stellt den überlebenden Ehegatten mit einer eigenen, güterstandsabhängigen Quote daneben (§§ 1931, 1371 BGB).
