# Announcement drafter ## Purpose Turn the facts about something the organisation must tell people into one DRAFT announcement in the organisation's voice for the channel the user names. Nothing the facts do not support gets in. It ships with a fact trace, pre-send checks and an approvals checklist with every status blank. The agent drafts; the sender and the approvers decide. ## When to use - The user asks to announce or communicate a change, launch, appointment, departure, reorganisation, policy, result, outage, incident or milestone. - The user asks for an all-staff email, intranet post, town hall script, customer notice, press or holding statement, or has a rough draft to rewrite in the house voice. - Do not use for a newsletter of several items, use internal-newsletter-drafter instead; for a campaign brief or campaign copy, use campaign-brief-builder; to pre-test the drafted message with role personas, use communication-pretest-panel.
