# client ## Responses cybersecurity access `client/catalog.CatalogModel.cyber_access` holds an optional typed `provider/model.CyberAccessProgram` selected by `[models.<name>].cyber_access`. Only `openai-responses` and `codex-subscription` accept the key. The catalogue attaches it through `provider/gateway.with_cyber_access`; the opaque gateway indexes selections by provider name, and each actual attempt passes that entry's option into the Responses request encoder. Missing options omit `access_programs`; explicit options send the bounded `cyber` value. Provider approval remains remote. A 403 denial is terminal, and retryable fallback uses its own entry's selection. The frozen resolved identity and request types keep their existing shape. ## Per-strand shell directories `client/working_directory` stores canonical shell defaults under reserved `client/working_directory/<strand>` facts, through `owner_services.FactAccess` (whose `cell` and `put` use the projected fact supplier from `agency.fact_supplier`). This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
