Set up, maintain, build, and preview a Brain's private site with dotbrain site, including navigation, themes, and rendering checks.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Brain Site A **Brain site** is the private site dotbrain renders from one Brain. Every Markdown file in the Brain is a page, served at its path in the Brain, so relative links between Brain files work on the site. The Brain owns its content, `.brain/site/site.yaml` (whose nav is the sidebar), the home page `.brain/site/index.md`, and optional theme extensions; dotbrain owns the engine, which `dotbrain site` runs from its cache. This skill picks the command, keeps the sidebar, and supplies the page syntax. It never publishes anything: a Brain site is served on `127.0.0.1` only, and a project's public docs are not a Brain site. How to install
mdr add arminzou/dotbrain/brain-site@sha256:5357388c8acd7d91The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261009.2ef2192, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
