This skill should be used when a task's implementation has finished and the whole task needs one pass against its contract and its code, for example "review this task", "run the review", "gate check", "check this task before completion", or "Phase 4". It runs sixteen checks over the frozen contract, the diff at the final commit, the coding-standards and analysis and security and suite results, the mutation survivors, the research records and the surfaces a person can see. Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Review Review runs once per task, after implementation's `finish` wrote `implementation/finished.json`. It answers sixteen checks over three subjects: the contract, the code as written, and the surfaces a person can see. One step runs every check a script can decide. One step dispatches the architecture reviewer and records what it found. One step runs the surfaces and dispatches the acceptance verifier, which runs the product and records evidence. The last step asks the person the checklist rows, with the evidence beside them, and writes the verdict. **Review starts no fixer and runs no second pass.** A review fails only on a criterion that reads unmet. Every other check that is not met is a warning in the record. Either way the record goes to the person. The implement skill's `reopen` then sends each finding that fails a criterion back to the order that owns its file, whose own fixer repairs it. A reviewer holding no reference outside the code checks the code against itself, so a second round finds new things forever. The reference here is the frozen contract and the frozen tests. …

How to install
mdr add camoa/claude-skills/review@sha256:65dd489a3609fb63The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261028.6aa4db5, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
