This skill should be used when the user asks "which playbooks apply", "list the plays", "add a play", "capture this as a rule", "add this to the playbook", "show my playbook", or when completion offers a note as a play and the person says yes. It lists the plays from the person's file, the project's file and the last loaded catalog sets, and appends a play to the project's file by hand.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Playbooks A playbook is a set of rules a person wants followed on their projects. Each play says do it this way, not that way, with the reason and where it applies. Every role that writes or judges code reads the plays. Four sources, in precedence order: 1. The person's own file, `~/.claude/aida/playbook.md`. Their preferences, on every project. 2. The project's own file, `<projectPath>/playbook.md`. What this project decided. 3. Each folder the project declares as a source of playbooks, in the order it declared them. The folder holds `playbook.md` at its root, in the format below. The project skill's `add-source <target> playbooks <folder>` declares one. A team with one shared set of plays puts it here: the person's file is per machine and the project's file is per project. 4. Catalog sets, recorded in `project.json` under `playbookSubscriptions` as a list of set ids per framework the project declares. The project skill's `subscribe-playbook` adds one. A play's id is its source and its title as a slug, so a play from a folder carries that folder's path. Open the file the id names to read the play in full. …

How to install
mdr add camoa/claude-skills/playbooks@sha256:35b98ff5e8253c1aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261028.99198b4, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
